Stance & Footwork
Day one starts with the base everything else depends on: balance, angles and moving without crossing your feet.

Boxing taught by coaches with real fight-cornering experience, 15 minutes north of Brickell on I-95. Footwork, defense and combinations, with mitt rounds and sparring when you are ready. Classes at 5:30 AM and 7 PM.
Brickell is full of boxing-themed workouts: dark rooms, loud music, heavy bags on a timer. They burn calories, but nobody corrects your stance or teaches you why the jab comes back to your face. KO Zone's boxing program is the real sport: a coach watches your feet, holds mitts, and builds your technique one round at a time.
That is why so many Brickell professionals make the 15-minute drive. You get the conditioning of a boutique class plus skills that actually stay with you. Three-minute rounds, one-minute rest, and a coach who notices when your right hand drops.
Sparring is never forced. When your coach decides your fundamentals and control are ready, usually a few months in, you start controlled, supervised rounds with the right partner. Until then, the bag, the mitts and the drills do the work.
Day one starts with the base everything else depends on: balance, angles and moving without crossing your feet.
Coach-held mitts for timing, accuracy and combinations, with feedback after every round.
Round-based bag work that builds power and conditioning at the same time.
Slips, rolls, blocks and distance, so you learn to not get hit, not just to hit.
Supervised rounds with matched partners, only once your coach signs off.
Gloves and wraps available for your first sessions while you build your own kit.
