Stand-Up for the Cage
Boxing + Muay Thai adapted for MMA. Stance, level changes, kick defense, clinch work, dirty boxing.

MMA training in Miami the way it's supposed to be done. Stand-up. Ground game. Transitions. Cage work. Wrestling. Sparring rounds with coaches in the room. KO Zone trains complete fighters — not stand-up specialists or BJJ guys with bad hands.
Real MMA training isn't just “Muay Thai class plus BJJ class.” It's the integration — what to do when a kicker shoots a takedown, how to stand back up off the cage, how to land ground-and-pound from half-guard, when to scramble vs. when to control. KO Zone's MMA program is built around those transitions, taught by coaches who've cornered professional fighters in regional and major promotions.
Our weekly schedule covers each piece: dedicated wrestling sessions for takedowns and takedown defense, BJJ for the ground game, boxing and Muay Thai for stand-up, and dedicated MMA sparring rounds where it all comes together — with cage walls, four-ounce gloves, and the right coaching to make it productive instead of stupid.
Whether you're building toward an amateur card on a Florida regional, signed to a contract and prepping for a pro fight, or just love the sport and want to train it the right way — the room has the training partners and the coaching to push your game forward.
