Fundamentals Class
Stance, footwork, the basic punches, defense. Pure technique-building. The class every member starts with.

Real boxing coaching in the heart of Miami. Footwork. Head movement. Combinations. Defense. Whether you've never thrown a punch or you're prepping for an amateur card, KO Zone's boxing program is built on actual fight-cornering experience.
Most so-called “boxing” classes in Miami are cardio-kickboxing dressed up in gloves. KO Zone is different — our boxing program is run by coaches who've cornered amateur and professional fighters. The fundamentals are taught the way they're taught in legitimate boxing gyms: stance, footwork, jab, cross, hook, defense, head movement, and the patient construction of combinations.
Bag work builds your power and rhythm. Mitt work builds your timing and accuracy. Pad work with a partner builds your eyes. And once you're ready — and only when you're ready — controlled sparring lets you put it all together with a live, thinking opponent. The progression is built around your safety and skill development, not around looking impressive on Instagram.
We coach the cardio side too. Boxing is the most demanding cardio sport on the planet — three-minute rounds, 20-second jab pressure, recovery while moving. Members who started for the workout end up legitimately learning to box. That's the goal.
Stance, footwork, the basic punches, defense. Pure technique-building. The class every member starts with.
Heavy bag for power and conditioning. Coach-led mitt work for timing, accuracy, and combinations.
Round-based boxing cardio. Three-minute work, one-minute rest. The hardest workout you'll get in any Miami gym.
When you're ready, controlled sparring rounds with appropriate partners. Coach-supervised, safety-first.
Fight-camp coordination, weight cuts, sparring schedules, corner work for Florida amateur cards.
MMA fighters — build legitimate hands. Stance adjustments for the cage, takedown defense from boxing posture.
